Upon uploading a study, you may find that one or more patient studies have been combined as one study under a single patient record. This can be made evident by the study dates not being consistent with the days the patient was assigned the device. Also, you may notice an unusually large number of sleep hours on the report.
This typically happens when a study is not uploaded when returned from a prior patient - please see our video on uploading and ARES study HERE
This can also happen when the device is not properly initialized to a new patient record before sending it home with that patient. This process will format the device, essentially clearing any old data from its memory, and assign it to the current patient record. - please see our video on initializing an ARES study HERE
If you notice that you have combined studies please contact customer support immediately and submit a formal request to have this resolved. The turn-around time on these requests can be 1-2 business days if there are no further complications with corrupted data, defective device components, etc. which will all be brought to your attention upon discovery, if necessary.
