Invalid AHI/ Values are N/A

Sleep studies that are uploaded with data that cannot be read are considered invalid. This is due either to a defective component in the device, corrupted data and in some cases, user error. This is evident when a study's results show the values "N/A" or "None". If a patient questionnaire is entered, you will see the data displayed in the "Clinical History" field.

On the second page of the report, you will see the total time recorded. This will confirm that the device was turned on and recorded information.

If you encounter this issue, you may need to have your ARES device repaired. This is also known to happen if the device was not operated properly by the patient. Unfortunately, there is no way to detect an invalid study until after it has been processed.
